Terms of Use
Version of October 2026 (2026-10).
1. Purpose
YumSpot is a mobile app that helps you choose where to eat through short restaurant videos. These terms govern its use, with or without an account.
2. Publisher
YumSpot is published by SN Consulting, 33 rue de la Bienfaisance, 75008 Paris, France. Contact: contact@yumspot.app.
3. Use without an account
All browsing (restaurants, videos, map, search) is available without an account. An account is only required to save restaurants as favourites and to publish reviews.
4. Account
- Creation. An account is created with an email address and a password, or with Apple or Google. An email address must be confirmed before its first use.
- Age. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account, or have the consent of a holder of parental authority.
- Security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If your account is used fraudulently, write to us at contact@yumspot.app.
- Username and picture. Your username and picture are visible with your reviews. They must not infringe the rights of others.
- Deletion. You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Your personal data is then erased or anonymised, as described in the privacy policy.
5. Content
- The videos shown are published by YumSpot or by content creators, with their consent. They cannot be reused outside the app without permission.
- Restaurant information (opening hours, address, rating) may change. YumSpot does its best to keep it up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is accurate at all times.
6. Published reviews
Your reviews must relate to a real experience, remain respectful and contain no unlawful statements, no personal data of third parties and no advertising. Any review can be reported; YumSpot may hide a review that does not comply with these rules.
7. Google services
YumSpot uses Google services: Google Maps (map, address search, restaurant information and reviews) and Google Firebase (audience measurement, error reports). By using YumSpot, you also accept:
8. Audience measurement
YumSpot measures how the app is used (screens viewed, actions, with no advertising data at all) in order to improve it. By accepting these terms, you accept this audience measurement. You can switch it off at any time in your profile, with the “Audience measurement” switch. The details are in the privacy policy.
9. Liability
YumSpot is provided as is. YumSpot cannot be held liable for an interruption of the service, nor for the experience had in a restaurant presented in the app.
10. Changes to the terms
These terms may change. Each version is dated; when a new version is published, the app asks you to accept it in order to keep using your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought before any action; failing that, the competent courts are those provided for by law.
